[For more gorgeous images, check out adventurer Kiell's blog, brown paper blue ink. Not only a visual talent, her writing is poetic. This is the narrative that accompanied the top left photograph:

BEFORE / AFTER
Symmetry, light and views reshape the space, and invite casual conversation or reading by the fire.
Honed bluestone and a fresh coat of paint update the fireplace.
Metallic coppers, bronze and gold leaf on walls and ceiling reflect evening light's glow.
(More photos, including the wall of new bookcases, to come.)
