The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art held its annual Bulfinch Award gala on April 27. It was an elegant evening, befitting of the organization's mission: "To advance the appreciation and practice of the principles of traditional architecture and its allied arts by engaging educators, professionals, students and enthusiasts."

Each year, the Bulfinch Award recognizes the best of classical architecture and design in New England. Our firm was honored to be among so many talented and inspiring winners, each of whom are doing their part to preserve and advance the classical arts.

The ceremony was held at the Harvard Club of Boston, on Commonwealth Avenue... an inspiring bit of architecture in its own right.

The Harvard Hall, with its ornate double height volume, hosted the dinner reception and presentation ceremony.

Our team celebrated our winning Governor's House project together in the Massachusetts Room, under the watchful gaze of George Washington's portrait. Stephanie Mesner and her skilled team at Arteriors created beautiful decorative finishes in the home.

We were thrilled that other Governor's House team members were in attendance, including our renovation partners, Burnham Builders. Other key members of the team (not shown) include Mauro's Painting, Patina Designs, Julie Weinstein's workroom and our own Kelly Hiselman.

A huge thank you to the dedicated officers and board members of the ICAA's New England Chapter. Our team looks forward to supporting your important work in the years ahead.
