This one bedroom plus study apartment sits on Back Bay’s prestigious first block, and occupies the 1860 brownstone’s grandest “piano nobile.” Original plaster and mahogany coffer ceilings and three working fireplaces are restored. A handsome, streamlined palette and revolving art collection balance the delicate ornamentation. The flexible furniture layout accommodates multiple uses of tall, yet small rooms.
